Greeting differently between Thai & Americans

How do people from Thailand behave differently from Americans?

The first behaving in Thailand different from Americans is greeting. The expression when Thai people greet to each other by clasping hands together raised up and lower head. There are three levels for respecting. The first level, raising hands to the forehead is given for monks and who is higher status in community. Second, raising hands to the nose is given for who is older than you, and raising around neck is for friends. By the way, women say "Sa Was Dee Ka", and Men say "Sa Was Dee Krub" during rising their hands. For Americans, they greet to each other by shaking hand and say "Hello".
