Nowadays, we have been being affecting from social media a lot. It's different from the past. We can get news from various medias. In the past, news paper would be the best way for us to know what happening in each day. Now, news has been changing by media technology to be more up date. We can know and see news faster from those media, such as other websites. It's not too bad that I don't need to pay monthly for news paper, just read news via websites. It's easy and fast.

My classmate...

His name is Eros. He first join our class today. He comes from Brazil.
There are 7 people in his family. He has 3 brothers and 1 sister.
He enjoy family get together. On the Christmas, his family has to celebrate and enjoy the party together.
He said that he looks like his father. He used to be smacked by his mom.
He accepts smacking because his mom can control him.
Even he had 4 siblings, but he doesn't want to have twin.

Differences But The Same

Two piano prodigies,

          The differences between two piano prodigies, one girl who has ability to see as a normal people and another is blind.
           Piano talent is perhaps the gift for both girls, Emily Bear and Yoo Ye Eun. They have the same talent which is intelligent in playing piano. Emily Bear started playing piano since she was three. She can sight as a normal people. While Yoo Ye Eun, who was born with blind but she can play piano very well even though she never has piano lesson.
           Environment might be the key to support Emily's talent, but not for Yoo. Because, she was born in family where members play piano and other types of musical instruments. In contrast, Yoo was born by a parents who didn't want her and adopted by adoptive parents. Her family's background doesn't have anybody can pay a piano or other music instruments. It's very amazing. She can play musics after listening the song, yet she's never seen those musical notes.

People should live together before they get married!

What is Cohabitation? According to the Oxford dictionary, Cohabitation means a couple live together and having a sexual relationship without being married. Nowadays, many people decide to live together before married. It becomes a normal thing to couples. Should they live together before being married? There are three advantages of better to living together before they get married.

First, living together before marriage would be a good practice to learn to live together. Couples can start knowing each other closer and more personal. They would learn what the partner likes and dislikes. Even though it's a simple thing, if they know and emphasize in a little detail they may get more a romantic moment from partner. Also learning each other habits is the good way to keep relationship on when they move in a same place. Couples have much time to spend together, so they can be comfortable when they act. Moreover, couples can enjoy their activities of house works together because there's no own duty.

Second, couples don't have to waste a huge money for wedding ceremony. Love or not doesn't depend on the value of money that its spending on wedding party. If it's love, it's love. Wedding is just announcing to people know that you are marriage with someone.  However, marriage doesn't guarantee you won't divorce your partner. Therefore, living together before get married can help couples determine if they can spend the rest of their life together.

Finally, living together would avoid a drama and stress of divorce from other people. Once you get married and then you are divorce, the following effects are stress and drama in society. Many people would talk about you and wonder about the reasons what cause you divorce. So many couples get stress and a hard time after divorce. So, living together before married doesn't have a piece of paper to guarantee their relationship.

Opponents of living together before married says that it is not appropriated to traditional of marriage. Traditionally couples don't live together before being married. However, marriage is just an idea of life commitment with a partner.

Inconclusion, people live together before they get married would be the best way to them for planing their future. Therefore, couples should learn each other deeply and understand cohabitation as a partner of life.

How to manage the customer satisfaction in restaurants

Service quality is a comparison between customer's expectations for a service offering and the customer's perceptions of the service received. If customers get lower service than customer’s expect, customers will feel this service is non-standardization. However, if customers get higher service than their expect, so customers will feel that they get the high quality service. For example in restaurants, customers don't just expect to have good food, but also services. I had some experiences in waitstaff when I had been a trainee at the luxury restaurant in Bangkok. Therefore, customer service is the important key for a close working relationship with clients. There are 5 steps to follow in making your clients feel valued and loved.
Encourage face to face dealings, is the first interaction with customers when they come in the restaurant. When you meet them, don't be scary, be calm and be confident taking time to ask what they need, and try to make a first impression.
Second, respond to orders promptly is the product knowledge test sometimes. Because customers probably ask you about ingredients or how to cook. So you should prepare yourself to advise them while taking orders.
Next,  you should be friendly and approachable to the customers. When you serve them foods, try to behave courteous and polite . To make your clients feel like they are your friends, and you are always ready to help them.
Then, you should attend to customer details. Providing the special occasion to the customer whose is birthday, and also making customers feel welcomed and valued.
Last is to honor your promises to the customers. Clients don't like to be disappointed. Therefore, you should keep on standard to reach their satisfaction, and willing to welcome them back to restaurant in the future.
Therefore, making a great impression when customers come in the restaurant till they left, is the vital importance for waitstaff duties. If they satisfy your restaurant, they will definitely come back again. I do hope that, those above steps would be helpful to manage the customer satisfaction in restaurants. 

All You Can Eat!!

"All you can eat" Have you ever heard about that? It's like a slogan of buffet. Oh yeah! I love that. I usually go to buffet restaurants in my hometown. There are many kind of foods you can choose. Sushi is one of my favorite food. Sometimes I went to hot pot restuarant with my friends. It was kind of buffet but chinese food. Somehow they adopt taste like thai style. Buffet restaurant is one of the first choices when we have to go for spacial occations with friends, such as birthday party or graduated party. It's the best place for us to enjoy our eating, talking and relaxing. It sounds too weird, yeah but it is. It happens in thailand, especially in local cities. We can start eating first, eat whatever we want. After that we talk or relax by singing a song because we think it would be helped to digestion.

First Day of School

          It was very difficult to find a place for someone who had never been to Chicago, like me. I was amazed by beautiful architecture buildings. I felt safe when crossing the road. The weather was very windy and chill. People were speaking english which I didn't familiar in their accents. Everything seemed to be wonderful for me. Whereas getting lost was what happened to me on the first day of school.
          When I got off the bus at Randolph Station, I really had no idea which direction I had to follow. I had seen 7-11 and went inside. After that I decided to walk along Michigan Ave for a while. I saw one lady who was sweeping the floor. I braved to ask her the way to get to Intrax. She was very nice and tried to help me find the way. She took me to ask concierges inside the hotel. They got me a lot of information. I thought I got it all clear. I said to everyone a big thanks and kept on my way.
          I had started walking along Michigan Ave and turned right on E.Lake street. I had been walking about 20 minutes when realized I got wrong direction. I dropped by some coffee shop for a while to find out and looking on the map. After that, I started looking for my school by holding the map on my hands. Oh dear! It was so funny that I stopped and looked around buildings in order to find no.174.
          I had been walking about 10 minutes and finally found Millennium Park. I felt like I was very close to the place which I was looking for. I decided to ask someone around the Conor. He pointed his forefinger to the same direction of 7-11 which was the place that I had dropped by.
          Finally, I found Intrax! From 7-11 to Intrax, I could walk just 5 steps. I was so surprised that it was next to the 7-11 where I dropped by but I hadn't seen it. I realized that I had to learn this new location before. Otherwise, I hoped I could be open my mind  and willing to leaning Americans such as people, english language, cultures, climate, foods, and all concerning to Americans.
